Cu-doped ZnO films and nanowires synthesized on rigid and flexible substrates by a one-step aqueous synthesis method exhibit enhanced piezoelectric and ferroelectric-like properties, charge storage capabilities, and also improved sensitivities towards hydrogen gas and light.
